Amelia Lily is the 16 year old singer from Middlesbrough who amazed the judges on her X-factor audition after singing a fantastic version of Beverly Knight's "A Piece of My Heart".

- Surely the comeback of all comebacks as Amelia stormed her way through to the final shows of the 2011 X-Factor competition.
Unfortunately we had to say goodbye to Misha B tonight meaning that the final 3 will be: Little Mix, Marcus Collins and of course our very own Amelia Lily.
After hearing she was through, Amelia said "I was shaking when Dermot shouted my name. I think Kelly thought I was going to fall over , she kept holding me for a few minutes. I'm so grateful, thank you everyone for voting for me."
You know what you have to do to make Amelia our X-Factor 2011 Queen- get voting on Saturday!
It's as if Amelia had never been away, the show must go on!

- A triumphant return for our middlesbrough lass as she blew away the judges and audience tonight. It really was as if she had never been away, and let's face it- she shouldn't have.
After a successful phone vote Amelia was rightly returned to the competition tonight and went straight up against all the remaining acts.

Amelia Lily to be given another chance on X-Factor!
10/11/2011 - That's right, the gossip is following Frankie Cocozza being booted off the show (idiot!) the producers have been scratching their heads on how to make the series last until Christmas with only 6 acts remaining. Well the answer is to leave it to the public to decide (which let's face it is what should of happened in the first place!), all four of the acts who were removed in the first week will have a chance to re-enter the competition so get voting for our Amelia!

- Well she's made it through the all the auditions, bootcamp, tears and trauma's and now the first live performance on the X-Factor for Amelia is here.
Rocking with her version of the classic Michael Jackson song "Billie Jean", Amelia showed of her new style.

2010 X-Factor winner Matt Cardle backs Amelia to go all the way
25/09/2011 - Last years winner, Matt Cardle, was in Teeside this weekend to promote his new single and album. He spoke with Gazette about Amelia saying that her voice was amazing and expected her to go far in this years competition. Here's hoping, let's just focus on getting past bootcamp tonight!

- Singing Beverly Knight's "A Piece of My Heart", Amelia Lily from Middlesbrough looked slightly nervous but she had no need to be as broad smiles began to grow across the faces of all four judges the more she sang.
As the applause from the audience died down Gary Barlow was the first to heap the praises "Oh my Goodness, that absolutely lifted the top off this arena, well done. Amazing vocals. Amelia I am blown away"

"Amelia you are a star, I don't know why Kelly dumped you in a first place, you were one of her best act. Janet Devlin or Sophie Habibis should have gone. Janet has one style and I getting irritated with her voice and Sophie was not versatile and was forgettable. Hope they give you a chance. You know what? You could also win the competition because there is no act that really stands out."

"amelia, you were cheated on sunday night. the remaining girl with you on the last 2 has a talent for singing - the size of your small toenail. it is just an unbelievable miscarriage of justice. that so called 'judge' needs to get right on back to the US of A and never come back to the show. you were set to win amelia,...maybe some folks get a bit insecure when they see a talent like yours. maybe your 'judge' is one of those people. you were the boss on that show, and you can take what's rightfully yours if you come back to us next year. will you please do that ame? all the best, gaz."
